Aeroparque (AEP) Airport – Buenos Aires
With the departure lounges and terminal buildings overlooking the Río de la Plata, Aeroparque Jorge Newbery sits between the popular Buenos Aires neighbourhood of Palermo and the Costanera region, which makes it highly accessible to popular tourist areas of the city including Recoleta and San Telmo as well as the main downtown area.
From the terminal buildings it is quite common to see people fishing just meters away from the main entry and departure points of the airport.
It mainly services flights from within Argentina and the rest of South America with frequent flights to destinations in Uruguay, Chile and Brazil as well as other popular South American destinations.
